Layered peonies and garden roses cluster densely against a dark, almost black background, their petals rendered in warm browns, creams, and copper tones with soft highlights that suggest candlelight. The composition draws from classical still life painting, with blooms overlapping in rich, moody abundance and delicate leaves emerging from shadow, creating an atmosphere of romantic decay and faded opulence. For a moody entryway, a vintage-inspired bedroom, or a room seeking warmth and romance. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
