Description
A symmetrical butterfly rendered in deep navy and golden yellow dominates this composition, its wings spread wide across a richly patterned ground of stippled and linear marks. The traditional batik aesthetic creates a rhythmic interplay between the creature and its ornamental background, where repeated motifs and hand-drawn textures give the piece an authentic, heritage-craft quality. At home in a bohemian bedroom, eclectic living room, or cultural collector's gallery wall. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
