Description
Cats in human clothing and postures populate a coral-pink ground densely packed with architectural vignettes and decorative red elements, each figure engaged in different activities across the composition. The line work is delicate and precise, rendered in the ukiyo-e woodblock tradition with warm earth tones, creating a playful narrative scene that blends Japanese travel culture with anthropomorphic animal humor. At home in a creative space or collector's gallery celebrating classic Japanese printmaking. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
