Description
A whole lemon and a cross-sectioned half rest against a pale cream background, rendered with precise botanical detail and delicate watercolor shading that captures the fruit's dimpled skin and translucent flesh. Handwritten notes and artist initials appear in the lower margins, grounding this study in the tradition of scientific illustration and naturalistic observation. At home in a kitchen, dining room, or study devoted to natural history and culinary heritage. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
