Description
A hand-colored antique map of the world from 1889 displays continents and territories in soft pastels of cream, rose, sage green, and pale yellow, bordered by an ornate frame and embellished with a subtle cartouche at its center. The composition balances geographic precision with the warm, aged aesthetic of 19th-century cartography, evoking a sense of historical exploration and timeless wanderlust. At home in a study, library, or space celebrating travel and discovery. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
