Description
A fragmented vintage subway map from 1918 New York City displays bold red and orange transit lines intersecting across cream, green, and tan colored zones, with letters marking different regions and areas. The composition combines cartographic precision with the worn, layered quality of aged paper, creating a sense of historical urban infrastructure frozen in time. At home in an office, study, or transit enthusiast's space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
