Four oyster shells are stacked vertically in a spare composition, each rendered in watercolor with soft washes of gold, lavender, and iridescent blue that capture the shells' pearlescent quality. The shells overlap slightly against a pale ground, their organic curves and subtle color variations creating a meditative study of form and natural delicacy. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. About The Artist

Hello! My name is Jessica Larson, and I am an artist based in Mukilteo, WA. I love vibrant, bright colors and am inspired by travel (mostly to tropical locales such as Hawaii - so lush!), and nature, especially the ocean/lake/beach. I love creating paintings in themed groups (for example: desert/jungle/tropical, etc) so it's easy to put together a collection for your home! Personally, I love good food and drinks, travel, indulging in self-care, and enjoying life by boating in the summer and snowy escapes in the winter.
