Description
Four oyster shells are stacked vertically in a spare composition, each rendered in watercolor with soft washes of gold, lavender, and iridescent blue that capture the shells' pearlescent quality. The shells overlap slightly against a pale ground, their organic curves and subtle color variations creating a meditative study of form and natural delicacy. At home in a coastal kitchen, a seafood lover's dining room, or a gallery wall celebrating marine life. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
