Description
A classic black and white soccer ball rests on green grass, rendered in soft watercolor washes that blur and diffuse the form into its surroundings. The composition uses pale greens, grays, and whites to create an atmospheric, dreamlike quality, as though the ball is emerging from or dissolving into the natural landscape. At home in a sports enthusiast's room or a child's bedroom filled with athletic inspiration. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
