Description

Multiple wrens in shades of brown and rust perch among delicate branching twigs rendered in soft pen strokes against a cream ground. The composition arranges the birds in a naturalistic scattered pattern, creating an intimate study of posture and plumage rendered with meticulous hand-colored detail characteristic of 19th-century ornithological illustration. Printed on smooth white card stock and made to order, artwork on the front, blank inside, envelopes included in every set. A handwritten note that arrives as an independent artist's work.
