Description
A weathered red textile surface displays symmetrical rows of dark metal clasps or hooks arranged in a grid pattern across its worn face. The aged fabric shows patches of discoloration and wear, creating a tactile, archive-like quality that speaks to time and use. At home in a gallery space or a collector's study celebrating textile history. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
