Description
Sixteen zebra finches in various poses and plumages populate a warm cream ground, each rendered in soft watercolor with characteristic orange beaks, gray heads, and russet markings. The birds cluster across the composition in a loosely scattered arrangement that feels both observational and whimsical, capturing the species' natural diversity of pattern and posture. At home in a naturalist's study or child's bedroom filled with wonder. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
