Description
A palace interior overflows with figures in jewel-toned robes gathered around a central male figure, their hands raised in distraction and wonder as servants present fruits and delicacies. The composition layers multiple scenes vertically across a honeycomb-patterned floor, rendered in rich golds, blues, oranges, and reds with the precise detail and flattened perspective characteristic of Persian manuscript illumination. At home in a gallery, study, or any space celebrating classical Islamic art and literature. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
