Kookie Pixel is the creative studio of Christina Shek, a British-born Chinese artist whose work explores the quiet beauty of everyday life. Since launching in 2016, her art has grown from playful illustration to a more intentional, multidisciplinary practice rooted in nature, heritage, and slow living. Christina’s work blends minimalism with a wabi-sabi sensibility — drawing on earthy palettes, organic shapes, and the textures of home. She moves fluidly between illustration, textiles, and curated objects, guided more by instinct than by style or trend. When she’s not creating, Christina enjoys sewing her own clothes, caring for her houseplants, and spending slow moments with her husband and their two rescue cats, Luna and Pon.
