About The Artist

Mikayla Lapierre is a New York based artist who draws inspiration from past centuries, reimagining classic paintings through modern storytelling. She holds a degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with formal training in advertising and a focus on art direction. In 2017, she founded her own art business, Side Dimes. Her work has been featured in major outlets such as Adobe, Harper's Bazaar, Allure, CNN, Netflix and most notably in the Smithsonian of Natural History.
