I am a 25 year old graphic designer in the middle of the Midwest United States. I was raised with the modest ethos that simplicity is good, and one can make do much more with less. I try to apply this to my design whenever possible, as I am a firm believer that a genuinely good design comes from removing everything that you can and leaving only what is essential for the message.

Since elementary school, I have had an affinity for video gaming, and one series has stuck with me through every single one of my handheld systems' lifetimes. That series is Pokemon, and I decided to challenge myself by designing one minimalist Pokemon poster per day, for as long as there are Pokemon remaining to be done. I have been at it for over 151 days now, and every one that I make brings me closer to chronicling a large part of my childhood in minimalist poster format.
