Pierce Jonassen is a New Orleans artist who has studied art and art history at Tulane University and The New Orleans Academy of Fine Art. She recently won the Faculty Award at the Academy’s Student Show. She is inspired by the flora in her native Louisiana and hopes that the jazzy ‘Big Easy’ vibe comes through in her art.
