ABOUT THE ART
Recently the rapper Nate Dogg died at just 41. When I was a kid I couldn’t get enough of the West Coast, Death Row rap scene. Nate Dogg was a big part of that and helped shape the sound from early on. That style of hip hop was often referred to as G-Funk. The ‘G’ is for ‘Gangsta,’ duh.
