"GO. LIVE. NOW. Don't put it off!" The battle cry of my sister, Jeri Comer, who lost her long fight with Leiomyosarcoma on November 22, 2017. Her motto was about being your own best advocate for your health. Don't mess around if you notice a change, a lump, a feeling. Do your research. Question your doctor. Ask for second opinions. And thirds. Until you are satisfied with your treatment. GO. LIVE. NOW!! This logo was originally used as a fundraiser to help provide money for a fun family trip during a break in treatment. It was never used for that, tho. Little things got in the way...copays, car repairs, etc. The money raised by a second run of the GO. LIVE. NOW. t-shirt fundraiser went to a virtual stranger...to help pay copays and gas and food while she was treated for her own form of cancer. That stranger became a dear friend to my sister. They'd talk late at night when Jeri couldn't sleep and Ashley was available to chat. Sweet support.

In the year or two before Jeri died, she tossed around the idea of what to do with her logo. Does she leave it to someone in her will? Does she start another campaign to help fund someone else before she goes? Ultimately, she gave her permission for me to do 'something' with it, cuz her battle was long and the t-shirts were becoming tattered and torn from wear. People also requested mugs. However, in searching her computers, I was unable to find a large enough copy of the original to be able to work with it, so this was my solution...the worn logo, vibrantly colored, to signify her long battle and her words to live by. Monies gathered from this store will be donated to Jeri's chosen charity, Leiomyosarcoma Research Direct.
